So about two months ago my uncle decided to go to Las Vegas for a convention. He also wanted to take with him his kids (my cousins that really look up to me). My cousins don't live here, they live in Canada. They hardly ever come here. I did know they were going but what I did not know is that my uncle was going to book a ticket for me about 2 hours before the flight. So he did that without me knowing and took me with them to Vegas! I packed up my suitcase in about 5 minutes and walked to my grandma's house which is where they were staying before the trip. My grandma lives 3 minutes walking distance away from me, which is quite convenient. As soon as I got there, an Uber arrived and picked us up to go to LAX. We rushed to LAX 2 hours early because my grandpa likes going places very early. We got through security just to realize that our flight was delayed 3 hours until 1:45 AM. So we waited until then, and arrived in Las Vegas At around 2:45 AM. Luckily, Treasure Island (the hotel we were staying at) was fairly close to the airport. We got a taxi and the taxi drove us there. We checked in at around 3:00 AM. My uncle ordered 2 normal double-bed rooms for him, my two cousins, both my grandparents, and me. What we didn't know was that they gave the rooms to someone else by accident and switched us to presidential suites for the same price. At that moment, I knew the trip would be incredible.
I fell asleep at about 4:00 AM and woke up at about 7:30 AM. We went down to the lobby, past all the casinos and to this Vietnamese breakfast restaurant that was delicious. After that, we stepped outside to the 117-degree weather and jumped in the pool. For the other 4 days of the trip, we went down the strip to most of the hotels and saw things like the snow tigers, the Blue Man Show, the Mystere Show, and this place that displays Ferrari's and Maserati's. Ironically, that night we saw my favorite car which is a Lamborghini Aventador and it was awesome! The day before, my uncle and cousins saw that I have a hoverboard (or segway, whatever you want to call it) and decided to buy 2 hoverboards for my cousin to share. My uncle got them from the business convention he attended. The next day, we went to the IO Hawk store which is where they sell $1,800 hoverboards.
A few days later, we had to return back to LA with my cousins. I don't see them very often so it was nice for them to come with me. I hope you enjoyed my third blog!
