The Holy Land - Israel

So in the Summer of 2009, my parents and sister planned a trip to Israel. I didn't know that we were going on the trip until a few days earlier. I heard my parents talking about a trip but every time I asked they would always make up a silly excuse on why they were talking about the trip and they said that we weren't going anywhere. I found that the funniest part of the trip. So we got on the plane and the flight was VERY long. We stopped in Switzerland for 6 hours and got back on the plane to our final destination, Tel Aviv. The beaches were very beautiful, the hotel was phenomenal, and their were positive vibes everywhere. My whole tour loved it. 2 days later we went to Jerusalem. The thing I remember most was that it was super holy. We went to the Western Wall and everyone was praying and putting notes in between the bricks on the wall.

This was the highlight of the trip. The next day we went to a mountain that Jesus walked on. I don't remember much but I do remember that my mom was fascinated by that fact. We also went to the dead sea but I wasn't allowed to swim in it. My sister did and said you can just float on it easily. I thought that was pretty cool. We also went to the factory that produces Ahava lotion. The last awesome part of the trip was going to a kosher Burger King as well as McDonalds. There I could actually eat the burgers there and they were delicious! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this blog, see you next week!
